Everyone has a story. We are here to help you create and share yours. Helping you enjoy your memories while sharing your story with family and friends.
Our store gets its name from a gentlemen named Lowell Blosser. He started the business in the 1920's and since then, the photo business has changed dramatically.
I don't know if the word digital was around back then. However, it sure has made it easier to share and create. Enjoying photography, helping others with the hobby, having fun while recording life's moments, and sharing your family memories hasn't changed.
Desi (as she is also known by) has been with Blosser’s since May of 2010. In her 8 years with the company she has done almost every job there is and currently manages our school/sports photography. She has a bachelor’s degree in Fine/Commercial Art from the University of Saint Francis and has over 19 years’ experience as a photographer. When she isn’t at work, she hangs out with her two young daughters and her husband along with their two fur babies. She is passionate about people, loves to laugh, and enjoys cheering for her favorite sports teams: Blackhawks, Cubs and Bears.
Autumn is the youngin’ out of the Blosser’s Brigade. She started working at Blosser’s in the summer of 2016. When she joined the crew, she was entering her junior year of high school and was involved with marching band. Now, she is a freshman attending Goshen College with a plan to study Pediatric Nursing. Autumn loves to read, photograph, and eat lots of sushi. Her favorite part about her experience at Blosser’s is the friends (more like family) she’s made and the nickname that has been picked up along the way. Springfoot.
Kelsay started at Blosser’s 3 years ago, part-time, but transitioned to full-time this fall. She graduated from Palm Beach Atlantic University in 2011 with a degree in Communication. She loves being active in her church, is passionate about the Dominican Republic, and if you can’t find her in the summer, it’s because she’s on the lake. (She also may or may not get teary-eyed when new post-it notes, and sharpies arrive in the mail, but it’s fine. She’s fine.)
Taylor is the “college kid” here at Blosser’s and started here as a Co-Op student in August of 2014. She is currently a senior at IUPUI studying Sport Management. She works full time at Blosser’s during the summer and when she is home during breaks. She has a great sense of humor, loves the St. Louis Cardinals & the Chicago Blackhawks, and really enjoys spending time with her family.
If he isn’t off to some vacation where it's warm and there is a beach, you may have had the pleasure of meeting Tom, who also happens to own the place. He started working here in the late 70’s when he was just a teenager and ended up owning the place in 1990. Since then, he has had a front row seat to watch the world of photography evolve into what it is today. His knowledge of the photography business is what helps separate Blosser’s from everyone else. With his great sense of humor, as sarcastic as it can be at times, he truly loves interacting with people and engaging in the creative process. Along with his wife of 33 years and their 4 children, Tom and his two dogs enjoy summers on the lake. If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Tom, it’s because he is watching football. GO COWBOYS!
